What an amazing feeling to see familiar faces again after six months on the road! We rented an apartment in Venice for a week with our friends Peter and Marianne, and then coincidently, our niece Katy and her friend Jennie stopped in to stay with us for a few days during their their winter trip to Europe. It was a wonderful break from our travels and it felt like we were back home with friends and family again. Good food, great company, lots of laughter, and the most fun we've had since we left home.
